Good Faith Estimates

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care service(s) will cost.

Under the law, mental health providers need to give clients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for any mental health services offered.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

To request a Good Faith Estimate, please email our Billing Team.

Once requested, you should expect to receive your Good Faith Estimate, in writing, no later than 1 business day before your appointment with a CICA clinician.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you are legally entitled to dispute the bill by contacting our Billing Team.

Upon receipt, please make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
