Bradley Wallace joined Collaborative Insight Counseling Associates (CICA) as a pre-LMHC psychotherapist in June 2024.
Bradley is a pre-licensed mental health counselor with a strong academic background and diverse clinical experience, specializing in anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), life transitions, and relationship dynamics. He holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Boston College and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, which has equipped him with both a scientific and therapeutic understanding of the human mind.
Bradley’s clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including Alzheimer’s disease research and community mental health crisis management, where he worked with individuals across the lifespan—from children to the elderly—and from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and life experiences. In his clinical internship, he focused on providing care to underserved populations in Boston, including those impacted by homelessness, substance use, and domestic violence. This work shaped his commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions and life experiences.
With expertise in neuropsychological assessment and risk management, Bradley tailors his therapeutic approach to each client’s unique needs. He integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic techniques, humanistic principles, and feminist theories, while maintaining a culturally sensitive lens. His clinical interests center on anxiety, trauma, OCD, life transitions, and gender and sexuality, with a particular passion for helping clients navigate challenges related to identity, self-discovery, and personal growth.
Bradley is deeply committed to providing affirming care to individuals from all walks of life, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community. He believes that therapy should honor and integrate all aspects of one’s identity, fostering a space for both insight and healing. Whether you are seeking to address past trauma, improve relationships, or explore personal growth, Bradley strives to create a therapeutic environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported in your journey toward self-empowerment.
Inspired by his own experiences with loved ones facing mental health challenges, Bradley is driven by a passion for understanding the complexities of the mind and the power of therapy in fostering positive change. With a foundation in both neuroscience and counseling, he brings a well-rounded, holistic approach to his work, helping clients achieve deeper self-awareness and lasting change.
Fun fact: Bradley loves to dance in his free time, and previously danced on a hip-hop dance team for 4 years! Bradley also loves any opportunity to bake, and his favorite dessert to make is banana bread!
