CICA’s mission is to provide high-quality, insight-oriented therapy, that is culturally sensitive and eclectic/adaptable to meet out diverse client population’s multitude of clinical needs. Our clinical team prides itself in being multi-cultural, multilingual, and comes from a wide range of treatment modalities.
The ideal candidate will be a second-year student in pursuit of either their MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited institution, or their MA/MS degree in Counseling Psychology. This candidate is also committed to providing compassionate, culturally integrative care for our clients. Candidates are expected to actively engage within a collaborative, team-oriented group practice, while also being skilled in working independently with their respective clients.
CICA’s Clinical Internship program will begin in September of each year, and will conclude in May of the following year. During this time, candidates will receive weekly individual supervision & monthly peer consultation. In addition to providing direct individual care to clients, interns will also have group therapy and training opportunities.
